Odia Font to Unicode Converter
Paste text written in Akruti, ORTT, Aprant or Shreelipi fonts and get clean Odia Unicode that opens correctly on any phone, website or app.
Three steps, about ten seconds
Pick the font
Choose the font your document was typed in. Akruti Sarala is the most common one for Odia.
Paste the old text
Copy the text from your Word or PDF file and paste it on the left. It will look like random symbols. That is normal.
Copy the Unicode
Odia appears on the right. Copy it into WhatsApp, Gmail, Google Docs or a web form.
How to find the font of your document
In Microsoft Word, click inside the Odia text and look at the font box on the Home tab. Names beginning with AkrutiOriSarala or Akruti Ori use the Akruti Sarala option. OR-TT Sarala or ORTT names use the ORTT-Sarala option. If the name is Aprant or Shreelipi, choose that one. If your font is not listed, ask whoever made the file, or try each option and keep the one that gives readable Odia.
Please check the result. Old fonts did not follow one standard, so some rare conjuncts and symbols can come out wrong, and Shreelipi support is still experimental. Read the output once before you use it for anything official. Text that is already in Odia letters does not need converting.
